kpcli software package provides command line interface to KeePassX password manager databases, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kpcli
kpcli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kpcli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kpcli *
You will get with kpcli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
